A business magazine is for managers, and presumably its editors understand and support strong management. By attacking George Bush (Up Front, August) and, by clear implication, endorsing Kerry and Edwards, you opt for two who are flagrantly unqualified to assume the responsibilities of the most demanding management job in the world. What management experience appears in either one's curriculum vitae? Neither has been a governor or run a business nor even been mayor of a small town.

Doesn't the flip-flop history of an undistinguished senator project the kind of indecisiveness that would be intolerable in a chief executive anywhere? There is not time for on-the-job...
