The committee's mission is simple: Provide CalCPA members with resources to efficiently and effectively manage their accounting practices and enhance their businesses through management and general business consulting with clients. The committee also acts as a forum For the introduction of new practice service areas.

In part, the committee does this by serving is a resource when CalCPA members have questions regarding buying or selling a firm; starting a practice; partnership agreements: succession. planning and funding; and when .a member or their family find themselves in an emergency situation due to an illness or death.

Additionally the committee writes articles on pressing issues for California CPA, and develops business and firm management tools, sample guidance and HR document samples. The committee also...
