A national survey conducted by Zogby International for Headhunter, net finds male workers in the U.S. are looking for ways to spend more time with their families. In fact, 46.4% of men indicate they have just as tough a time balancing work and family as women. Additionally, 63.5% say quality of life was very important in their decision to take their current job.

Despite the economic downturn, 37% of male workers feel more secure in their jobs today than they did a year ago. However, security does not necessarily translate into loyalty. Just 15% of those surveyed feel more loyal to their employers in today's economic environment. If a better offer providing more flexibility came along, 80.6% would consider taking it.
