MAJOR COMMAND / Marine Corps Logistics Command (L01).

MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND (MAR-CORLOGCOM)--This Command provides worldwide integrated logistics/supply chain and distribution management; depot level maintenance management; and strategic prepositioning capability in support of Marine operating forces and other supported units to maximize readiness and sustainability in support of enterprise and program level Total Life Cycle Management.

G3/5 OPERATIONS & TRAINING/PLANS--G3/5 is responsible for integrating staff actions across the Command. It monitors Marine Corps operational matters pertaining to strategic and contingency planning, Marine Forces (MARFOR) support, war reserve materiel requirements, and logistics customer services in order to maximize Command effectiveness to support the force.

G4 LOGISTICS--C-4 provides policy guidance, analytic support, and programmatic oversight of Supply Operations, policies and procedures for metric analysis and management of Marine Corps Military Equipment and Garrison Property (CP); integrated maintenance management in support of supported systems; and coordinating the physical inventory of all MAR-CORLOGCOM Military Equipment (ME) in the possession of organic, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and other third party Remote Storage Activities (RSAs).

G6 COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS--G6 is responsible tor the governance, management and execution of Information Technology (IT) requirements and various logistics solutions for MAR-CORLOGCOM and other DOD entities in support of the Warfighter.

G8 RESOURCE MANAGEMENT - G8 is MAR-CORLOGCOM's Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) life cycle manager.


The QMC is the Command's principal agent for Innovation, End to End Business Process Improvement, Advanced Analytics, Compliance, Policy Management and Quality Assurance.
