E-mail archiving system sales will skyrocket between now and 2008, mainly because of companies' ever-increasing storage needs and regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), according to analyst firm The Radicati Group. Its study, "E-mail Archiving Market, 2004-2008," predicts that e-mail archiving and retrieval software vendors will see revenue growth of more than $2.5 billion in their market over the next four years.
