Although this book was originally published in 2002, I found myself reading it again recently. I'm not sure about yon, but sometimes I get too hard nosed in my day-to-day work life. I forget about the people and focus too much on processes and results. Love Is The Killer App is something I should read again every few years. It serves as a terrific reminder of some common themes that can help us all in business and in life.

Many concepts in this book are as useful today as when the book came out eight years ago. They are, in fact, timeless. The first concept that author Tim Sanders refers to is called "bizlove". He describes it as follows:

"Bizlove gets your attention. Other things only get time. The difference between having time over attention is the difference between ham and eggs. The chicken is involved, but the pig is committed." That picture of the chicken and the pig makes it a simple concept to grasp. If you want bizlove, you need to deal with people instead of tasks. When you deal with people, you get undivided attention and undivided attention produces results that last. We all like lasting results.

Another theme in the book is one of sharing your knowledge freely. It's really about "good karma" in a lot of ways. If you continue to add to your knowledge and experience base, you'll undoubtedly learn some interesting stuff. Sharing that in a meaningful way with anyone in your life will come around to you again in a positive way. Sanders describes this process:
