LMA voices support of ABA Commission's recommendations.

On June 29, the ABA Commission on Ethics 20/20 issued its initial report on proposed changes governing lawyers' use of technology for marketing and advertising.

Kim Perret, chair of LMA's ABA Commission on Ethics 20/20 Task Force was quoted in a National Law Journal article the next day regarding the ABA commission's findings. Though the commission caused some alarm when it launched the study in fall 2010, the resulting recommendations were relatively minor.

"We applaud the commission for its thoughtful consideration and restraint on this issue," Perret said.
