There is, in my opinion, a concomitant service obligation associated with the privilege of practicing law, often best satisfied through work with community organizations. Some of my community service includes being past chairman of the board of Cape Fear Museum, past chairman of the board of the Cape Fear chapter of the American Red Cross, a volunteer with the Azalea Festival and a youth football, basketball and baseball coach.
