When Kitamura speaks of the philosophy of "limitless creativity," it's not just corporate rhetoric. Aki Kitamura, president of the US operation, says limitless creativity is reflected in the company's relentless effort to improve machine accuracy, performance, and productivity.

Without that philosophy, he adds, it would have been impossible for Kitamura to deliver a 1-million-pulseper-revolution communication rate between servos and machine controllers on many of the machining centers appearing at IMTS 2000.

Take the Mycenter-2Xi/ Spark-changer Vertical Machining Center, designed for highly toleranced components in high volumes.
