LifeFligh, t, Alaska Regional Hospital s critical care air ambulance program, has received a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems. LifeFlight in Anchorage first received similar accreditation in the voluntary program in 1997. Accreditation included a three-day site visit plus reviews of LifeFlight's patient safety procedures, communication, staff education, flight service safety and maintenance.
