Gen. Robin Rand, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, spoke to National Defense about the ongoing work to make life a little easier for the missileers who watch over the ICBM fields across the Northern Plains. It has been almost nine years since the report, "DoD Nuclear Weapons Management," which was a result of several scandals involving Air Force management of the nuclear enterprise.
