Directions: Take 12S from Watertown or

Route 177 from 81, exit 42. Route 177 goes

into 12S. 12S in town is Dayan Street. Turn

left onto N. State Street (812N). The court-

house is on the right, flanked by a church (on

corner of N. State and Trinity Avenue) on the

right and a school (Lowville Academy and

Central School) on the left. The courthouse is

a red brick building with Ionic columns. There

is no street number, but the residence across

the street bears the number 7659. The County

Clerk’s building is attached.
