Proper prognosis

As a charter subscriber to your magazine, I have always looked forward to its arrival each month. I was especially thrilled to find my old friend Dr. Joe Liverman on the cover (July). Ed Martin did a great job of providing insight into the lifestyle of those who live in my beloved "hometown" of Hyde County and into the lives of a very special man and his family. Joe Liverman is the kind of doctor that reminds us all what a family-medicine practitioner ought to be and of what a true humanitarian really is. Thanks for a fine tribute to a great man.
