I normally read and enjoy the articles in your magazine on a monthly basis. This month I read an article that appeared on page 32 (January 2001, "15 Years ... 15 Perspectives"). I have enclosed a copy of it as a reference point. The article gives the impression that credit unions started the first drive up facility (which is questionable) but the reality is the article was generated as simply propaganda. The credit unions want a tax exempt status but want to compete with all other financial organizations in the state. If they would like an even playing field, then let them pay taxes; I would bet this "fine" German-born President would give you an ear full if you suggested that her organization contribute like the rest of businesses in the state.
