Hello Fellow IP Section Members,

I write this letter having just completed week 7 of Shelter at Home. What an interesting 7 weeks it has been! Although you may have received the Spring issue of New Matter in April, my last Letter From The Chair was drafted in late February, before we knew what March and April would bring. Life has certainly changed since then in so many ways. Personally, I can't pretend to know what life will look like by the time you receive this issue; nevertheless, here are some important IP Section updates.

First, the IP Section has decided to cancel all in-person programming for the remainder of 2020. This includes IP in Entertainment & Media, which was scheduled for May, and this year's 45 th IP Institute, scheduled for November. The...
