Kudos to The Progressive for publishing its education issue, including the two important pieces, "Outlawing The Truth" and "What Schools in Minneapolis Are Teaching About Race." Both pieces illuminate the dangerous path of censorship embraced by the right in its trumped-up fight against so-called critical race theory.

The principles of restorative justice are rooted in the understanding that healing begins with a shared recognition of the harms done to both the victim and the impacted community, a recognition that opens the door to the offender taking responsibility and making amends.
