The Legislature is almost half-way through the first year of this two-year session, and this is about the time during the legislative season where we begin to see amendments coming forward and substantive legislation starts to form. CalCPA will continue to monitor all the bills to see what amendments appear as these bills begin to take shape.

One issue CalCPA has been active on this year is ACR 39. Assemblymember Matt Dababneh is the author the bill, which is this year's resolution declaring April 2015 as Financial Aid and Literacy Month to draw attention to the importance of financial literacy for all Californians.
