"The times they are a-changin'"— written by Bob Dylan before I was born, but still apropos today and introduced to a wider audience with the movie "A Complete Unknown." Or, as often credited to the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, "change is the only constant in life." As attorneys, we are often critical guides through changing times for our clients, many of whom would be unable to navigate life's changes such as probate, unemployment and divorce, by themselves.

In 2024, Georgia Legal Services Program's attorneys and advocates provided more than 14,800 of our fellow Georgia residents with representation, advice and counsel, helping them secure benefits to which they are entitled under the law and exercise their legal rights. Among this number were more than 700 veterans and members of their families, as well as more than 4,100 survivors of domestic violence. And this number does not reflect other...
