Women In Defense's (WID) next executive dinner will be held on October 24, 2000, at 5:30 p.m. at the Army Navy Country Club, in Arlington, Va. The guest speaker will by Dee Lee, director of defense procurement, Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. Executive dinners are held at local area restaurants and are designed to provide a forum to disseminate information on new initiatives to the WID constituency and other interested persons. A second objective of the program is to provide an informal environment for these professionals to easily expand their network within the Defense Department community.
