Best Overall Route Network: LATAM: Size does matter. LATAM Airlines Group--the owner of LAN and TAM--dominates in its region, with an ever-growing network of flights to about 135 destinations in 24 countries.

Most Impressive Airline Expansion: COPA AIRLINES: Placed a $6.6 billion order for 61 new Boeing 737s.

The merger between LAN and TAM has created one of the most important airline groups in the hemisphere. TAM now plans to add service to between four and six new regional destinations every year, starting this year.
