Over 400 students moved into the newly opened Lassonde Studios at the University of Utah at the beginning of fall semester. The studios offer both living and working spaces for student inventors and entrepreneurs. The photos in these pages were taken on "move in" day for 20 student startup companies that will use the co-working space to refine and execute their business ideas.

The Lassonde Studios were made possible by a $25 million donation from Pierre Lassonde. In addition to co-working space, the facility offers a fabrication shop with a 3D printer, laser cutter and other prototyping tools, along with space for events and workshops, and community spaces for relaxed gatherings.
