Though Larry Kramer grew up in a musical family, he never expected to start a local rock-and-roll cover band called "The Comb-Overs"--which he did, two year ago.

Stress Management | Music and the band practice are high on the techniques list, but so does an hour's exercise at night a few times a week on a home elliptical machine. And at age 46, I'm lucky to still be playing tennis once a week with my best friend since age 10.

Recent Reads | Chasing Daylight, by Eugene O'Kelly. This former KPMG CEO wrote about his final months of life battling cancer. It hit home on a few fronts: The intense and task-driven profession we FFI'ers work in, keeping daily life in perspective, how relationships and family are the really important things and that I recently lost my first cousin to cancer this past winter.
