* Joe Kusick of Raytheon Co. has been elected vice chair of the Program Management Systems Committee of the National Defense Industrial Association.

The first Raytheon executive to hold the post in more than 30 years, Kusick will serve as liaison between the company and its federal government customers on all matters related to earned value management.
