Kocher + Beck's Flexible Dies are a culmination of decades of experience, backed by a continuous program of research & development and process improvement.
Al-Universal dies are of the highest quality which enables them to meet the most stringent demands. Their versatility makes them ideal tor all self-adhesive and single-material products such as Paper, PP, PE, PVT, PET and other difficult to cut materials. The dies are fully CNC sharpened, with ultra-fine polished cutting edges. Depending on material, cutting angles may vary 64[degrees] to 110[degrees].
Kocher + Beck were the first manufacturer in the world to develop and use laser hardening technology. The life expectancy of a 3L die is up to that of a conventional rotary die, as hardness levels of 63 to 66 HRC are achieved. The incorporated laser procedure is completely environmentally friendly and helps to conserve resources. 3L Laser Long Life flexible dies can be used for the same applications as the AI Universal dies, e.g. thin film, Tyvek and metal to metal cuts. Available from 30[degrees] to 110[degrees].
