Knee amputee patients may be able to walk a bit easier with the aid of a new University of Toledo (Ohio) invention. According to coinventor Steven Kramer, professor of mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering and director of undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering, the UT Knee "provides a better swing motion and increased stability for walking than any other knee mechanism currently on the market."
