The Alicia Roberts Medical Center in Klawock received the Outstanding Rural Health Organization Award as part of the Alaska Rural Health Conference in Anchorage. The award was presented in May. The center is part of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium.
The award honors a group that has improved access to health services and information for rural people through innovative, comprehensive approaches.
