KENTUCKY MOMS COULD SKIP JURY DUTY.

A bill prefiled in Kentucky would let mothers caring for young children be excused from jury duty. If it were to pass, Kentucky would join only a handful of states that make child care an acceptable reason to avoid jury service. Currently only South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming let moms off the hook.
