The Alaska State Chamber of Commerce chose the Juneau Chamber of Commerce as the 2008 Chamber of the Year. The award was presented at the State Chamber's annual Fall Conference and Trade Show in Fairbanks during September. The Juneau organization was honored for being a well-respected and valuable asset to the community.
