6 Alaska Oceans Festival

Musicians, speakers, artists, fishermen, ocean recreationists and ocean conservation groups converge in beautiful downtown Anchorage to spend a day celebrating Alaska connections to the ocean. Films, food vendors, the Moose's Tooth beer garden, Seafood Olympics, a 5K Run for the Waves foot race, and the "Bucking Salmon" are just a few of the attractions that make this one of Anchorage's favorite summer events. During this nine-day period, various nonprofit, social and business organizations will host special events at venues around Anchorage.
