Comments on Proposed Rule Change Pertaining to Admission to Hawaii Bar by Law School Faculty

The Hawaii Supreme Court is seeking comment on a proposal to amend Rule 1.8 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. The proposal clarifies that any full-time law school faculty member seeking admission to the bar may not be suspended, disbarred, or under supervision in another jurisdiction. The proposed amendment may be viewed on the Judiciary's website.

Comments about the proposed rule change should be submitted, in writing, no later than August 18, 2014, to the Judiciary Communications & Community Relations Office by mail to 417 South King Street, Honolulu, HI 96813, by facsimile to 539-4801, or via the online form on the Judiciary's website.
