Judy Zelisko becomes TEI's president.

At the conclusion of Tax Executives Institute's 2004 Annual Meeting of Members in Colorado Springs in August, Judith P. Zelisko of the Chicago Chapter became the 56th President of Tax Executives Institute. The Annual Meeting also saw the installation of other Institute officers as well as representatives from approximately half of TEI's 53 chapters, as well as the presentation of the Institute's certified financial statements, which reflected revenues totally more than $5 million, net revenues for the year of almost $600,000, and net assets of $4.4 million.

Ms. Zelisko, who is Vice President-Tax of Brunswick Corporation, used the occasion of the Annual Meeting to thank her predecessor, Raymond G. Rossi of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter, who is Director of External Tax Affairs for Intel Corporation. At as meeting of the Board immediately following the Annual Meeting, Ms. Zelisko presented a set of proposed goals and objectives for the year, under the general theme of "Be Effective, Stay Effective."
