Joe Barkley commutes by public transportation, 2-1/2 hours each way, to his New York City-based office -- a trek made a half-hour longer since 9/11. A Pennsylvania native, he was born in the town famed for its February 2nd event, Groundhog Day. In fact, his grandfather was chief huntsman of the Groundhog Club for 25 years.
