Completing a musical trilogy of amazing recordings that started with his critically acclaimed 2000 debut album Not Your Typical New Yorker (followed by his 2002 release Island Garden), the CD Keep Your Dreams represents the last masterpiece of piano virtuoso Joseph Diamond, who died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 28, 2008, at the age of 48, as he was completing this recording.

A well-schooled musician, considering his jazz and classical pedigree, Diamond settled in the Big Apple in the early 1990s to pursue a musical career. He spent years mastering Latin piano styles at New York's Boys' Harbor School of Music, as well as traveling through the Caribbean and Latin America to fine-tune his unique melodic and rhythmic styles.
