Anna Isaacs' take on BDS ("Building a Boycott, Letter by Letter," May/June 2016) is in my view lighthearted and catchy. Another item that came up near the top a few years ago when searching for BDS was British Deer Society--my favorite.

My only problem with the article is the generalization that BDS angers Jewish Americans, most of whom associate it with anti-Semitism. This is an unwarranted exaggeration that ignores the enormous diversity in Jewish-American opinion. According to a J Street poll in 2014, 46 percent of non-Orthodox Jewish-American men under 40 support a full boycott of Israel to end its occupation and human rights violations. Jewish Voice for Peace, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Facebook, is the fastest-growing Jewish organization in the United States. It plays a crucial role in the BDS movement in the U.S. in pursuit of Palestinian rights under international law.

Granted, the Jewish establishment is completely angered...
