Jerry Kasner honored with lifetime achievement award.

Jerry Kasner will receive the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award from the California CPA Education Foundation at the July 16 Annual Members Business Meeting.

Kasner, a CPA and professor emeritus of law at Santa Clara University School of Law, has taught continuing education classes for the Education Foundation for many years. He received the California CPA Education Foundation's Award for Meritorious Service in 1985.

Known for his outstanding contributions to estate planning professionals, Kasner served as a mentor to many estate planners in Santa Clara County.

"Jerry is an awesome teacher and he's always been a highly admired role model," says Michael Gray, a San Jose-based CPA. "His courses are where I got a lot of my basic education on estate planning, and most people in estate administration feel his books are an invaluable reference."
