Jennifer Panagopoulos New Executive Director.

Jennifer Panagopoulos has been named the new Executive Director of the International Association of Defense Counsel, succeeding Richard J. Hayes, who is retiring on August 1 after having served the IADC in that position since 1970.

Panagopoulos was introduced to the IADC membership at the opening general session of the 1998 IADC annual meeting on July 8 at the Sheraton-Grande Torrey Pines Hotel in La Jolla, California. With tributes and a "roast," Hayes was honored for his many years of service to the organization at the annual meeting's early bird breakfast on the same day. Panagopoulos will assume her new position on August 1, and Hayes will remain available as a consultant until December 31.
