Mann, a partner in San Diego-based Withers, Mann & LaManna LLP, is currently treasurer for Business Networking International and volunteered for the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Development Center, to which she provided consultation to struggling entrepreneurs.

In 1998, the Small Business Administration named Mann Region IX Accountant Advocate of the Year.
