JAMES P. SILVESTRI, CPA, a member of the New Jersey Chapter has been promoted to Assistant Vice President Global Taxes at Cognizant Technology Solutions effective April 1, 2004. In his new role, Mr. Silvestri will continue to function as the company's chief tax officer.

Mr. Silvestri is currently a member of the International Tax Committee, chairing the VAT & Customs subcommittee.
