INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
Manuscripts should be submitted online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jems. Please double space and follow the JEMS
style guide, which is available at http://editjems.org. Submissions should be accompanied by a submission fee. The submission
fee is $50 for nonsubscribers. The submission fee is waived for authors if they or their institution's library has a subscription.
It is understood that a manuscript that is submitted to JEMS represents original material that has not been published elsewhere
and is not under consideration by another journal. It is also understood that submission of a manuscript to the journal is done
with the knowledge and agreement of all of the authors of the paper. Authors are responsible for informing the journal of any
change in the status of the submission.
Upon receipt, the editor will send the manuscript to a coeditor. The coeditor generally will provide two referee reports and
a coeditor's report. These will be sent to the author submitting the paper along with a cover letter from the editor conveying
the decision whether or not to publish the paper. Referees and coeditors will remain anonymous. Questions regarding editorial
policy should be addressed to the editor or to the editorial assistant.
If your paper is accepted, the author identified as the formal corresponding author for the paper will receive an email prompting
them to login into Author Services; where via the Wiley Author Licensing Service (WALS) they will be able to complete the
license agreement on behalf of all authors on the paper.
