The NBER's 39th International Seminar on Macroeconomics took place in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 24-25. The seminar was organized by Research Associates Richard H. Clarida of Columbia University, Jeffrey Frankel of Harvard University, and Helene Rey and Lucrezia Reichlin of London Business School. These researchers' papers were presented and discussed:
