The [ABC Insurance Company] acknowledges receipt of your notice of a claim under the above captioned policy of insurance.

The policy captioned above, although it insures you against the risk of loss by many perils, does not insure you against the risks of loss by all conceivable perils faced by your property. Certain perils and property are, in fact, specifically excluded from the coverage provided by your policy.

Your notice of loss indicates that the claim presented against you alleges that you intentionally battered the claimant. Intentional acts are specifically, clearly and unambiguously excluded from coverage.

Your insurer recognizes its obligation to thoroughly investigate each loss reported to it to determine whether there may exist facts that will allow coverage to be afforded to you under the terms of the policy of insurance.
