Institute of certified bankers launches computer-based testing.

THE ABA HAS ANNOUNCED that its Institute of Cert i tied Bankers (ICB) now oilers computer-based testing for all of its certification exams, formerly referred to as "individual proctored exams" Candidates now have the ability to choose their exam date, time and location at national test centers--known as PSI Testing Centers--within a defined date range.

One of the certifications that the ICB awards is the Certified Financial Marketing Profession (CFMP).

The ICB exam is one of several criteria candidates must meet in order to earn an JCB certification. Candidates are required to have substantial levels of experience and education, a letter of recommendation and must commit to the ICB Code of Ethics. Developed by experts in the financial services industry and backed by the insight of the ABA, ICB's job-specific certifications are acknowledged industrywide as the standard of excellence in financial services skills and knowledge.
