Initial S.C. unemployment claims drop by 76 in week.

South Carolina saw 1,234 initial employment claims filed for the week ending Nov. 13, a dip of 76 from the 1,310 first-time claims filed the week before.

For the most recent week, three S.C. counties recorded double-digit initial claims: Greenville County with 131, Horry County with 118 and Anderson County with 102. Richland County reported 92 initial claims and Spartanburg County 67, according to data from the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce.
