Whether you are an attorney, judge or member of the general public, there is something on our website for you. There is general and historic information about the Judicial Branch for users who want to educate themselves about the Wyoming judiciary. Wyoming and non-Wyoming legal information may be accessed for users who are trying to research a legal topic and there is contact information for various legal organizations and all courts in Wyoming.

On June 1, 2016, the Wyoming Judicial Branch launched its new website. Development of the website required a collaborative effort from many areas of the Judicial Branch. Te Supreme Court’s IT department spent countless hours working with the Supreme Court justices, District and Circuit Court judges, court administrators, staff attorneys, law librarians, and other support staff from many parts of the state to determine what information should be included and how it should be organized. Tyler Garrett, a Wyoming Supreme Court staff attorney, explains: “A year and a half ago, we began the process of revamping the judiciary’s website. Te aim was to provide the public and practitioners with access to information in an intuitive way. Tat meant distilling down existing content and infusing additional materials in a manner that could be obtained with a few clicks of a mouse. Te final product hopefully hits the mark, giving the public an informed peek at our court system and providing practitioners with a workable way to conduct daily business.”

Information That is Available

Here are a few highlights of what is available: Te new website contains information about the Supreme Court, District Courts, Circuit Courts, Municipal Courts, State Law Library, and the Administrative Office of the Court.
