The primary objective of the ICAP is to serve as a forum for NDIA industry members to review and discuss issues, policies and procedures pertaining to the development, production and fielding of ammunition.

The committee serves the Commander, Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Systems Command / Program Executive Officer, Ammunition, headquartered at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. and the Commander, U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC), headquartered at Rock Island, IL. The committee is formed by corporate membership consisting of executives from defense industry producers of ammunition components who routinely communicate and exchange ideas with other industry members within their sector.
