Guarani-Kaiowa Indians perform a traditional dance after recovering land that had been taken from them.

The Guarani-Kaiowa is the largest indigenous group in Brazil. Most of its traditional land has been gobbled up by huge ranches and soybean farms. Although the Brazilian government has set aside land for the Guarani-Kaiowa, the ranchers sometimes force members onto trucks in the middle of the night and drive them off the land they legally own. Out of 27,000 Guarani-Kaiowa, 9,000 are currently displaced.
