The U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) has launched a comprehensive initiative to deepen two-way trade and investment between the United States and India.

The USIBC initiative will focus on the principal trade and investment barriers of commercial significance to USIBC member companies and will build toward substantial market opening arrangements designed to bring broadly inclusive growth to both countries.

USIBC, working with stakeholders in the United States and India, "seeks to change the paradigm on U.S.-India trade and develop broad-based support in both countries for a robust trade and investment relationship appropriate for these dynamic economies and strategic partners."
