John J. Quick, a New Jersey Chapter member since 1994, died recently after a long illness. Mr. Quick served in several chapter leadership positions, including Senior Vice President, Vice President and Secretary. He was also a member of the Institute s State and Local Tax Committee. Mr. Quick was General Tax Counsel for the Lowes Corporation in New York, and previously worked for Pharma America and Beneficial Corporation as well as two public accounting firms.
