CalCPA's 1967 president, Robert S. Warner, passed away May 10 at the age of 95.

Warner graduated from Rutgers University in 1928 and began his 74-year accounting career at Lybrand, Ross Bros. & Montgomery in New York. In 1936, Warner was transferred to the St. Louis office, becoming that office's manager in 1939. He was admitted to partnership in 1944. In 1949, Warner moved to the Los Angeles office as partner in charge and later was made Western regional partner. Warner retired in 1972 in Laguna Beach.

In addition to his CaICPA service, Warner served as president of the Missouri State Society of CPAs in 1948 and was president of the Missouri Board of Accountancy from 1945-48.
