IN MEMORIUM: J. HERBIE DIFONZO

Professor J. Herbie DiFonzo passed away unexpectedly in September due to complications from sur-

gery. Herbie was known to friends and colleagues for his warmth and generosity, his entertaining

presentations, and his scholarship. He was Professor Emeritus at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at

Hofstra University, having served on the faculty since 1995, and a long-time AFCC member and

contributor. His friends and colleagues pay Herbie a most deserved tribute in the following pages.
